I’ve been experimenting with ways to cut back on flour of any sort and I saw an idea of using sweet potato slices to create a crust and I have to say it turned super yummy, so I created a recipe card with all the details on it.
And just in case you’re wondering, sweet potatoes are packed with great nutrition, they are a great source of vitamin A (in the form of beta-carotene). They are also a very good source of vitamin C, manganese, copper, pantothenic acid and vitamin B6. Additionally, they are a good source of potassium, dietary fiber, niacin, vitamin B1, vitamin B2 and phosphorus.
