  • sweet potato
  • celeriac
  • parsnip
  • butternut squash
  • cooked savoy cabbage, finely chopped

Although I generally mash with butter, I also sometimes add olive oil for a slightly different flavour. I also add herbs and plenty of black pepper.

This is free style cooking, the amounts vary depending on the contents of my fridge.
