What can I drink at Christmas?

Christmas drinking and being sugar-free?

Christmas drinks are always a thorny issue so here's some tips...

- If you don't want to cut out completely simply reduce or dilute whether this is alcohol drinks, soft drinks or processed fruit juice

- Keep your water level up to help with hydration

- Get friendly with fizzy water with ice and a slice

- If you are feeling adventurous make fruit water, here are some great combos

Strawberry, Lemon, and Basil

Orange and Blueberry

Citrus and Cucumber

Strawberry, Lime, and Cucumber

Rosemary and Grapefruit

Simply chop add and water and allow to blend their flavours for about an hour, squishing the fruit and herbs will help this process

- Make Tea Sodas

This involves steeping your favourite fruit tea in boiling water until cool and then diluting with fizzy water and serving over ice. This works well with berry flavours, pomegranate and also spicy vanilla chai

Finally if you choose to have your favourite tipple to celebrate view it simply as an occasional treat and enjoy it in moderation and then simply hop back on the sugar-free wagon.

ENJOY!
